Funeral services for David A. Mahan,
90 years old, will beheld at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Shirley Brothers Irving Hill
Chapel. Burial will be in Roachdale
cemetery. Mr. Mahan died Friday in a nursing home. He resided at 308 Payton
Street. Born in Orange County, he farmed
for many years near Roachdale, coming to Indianapolis on his retirement 19
years ago. He was a graduate of the former Paoli Normal College and a member of
the Primitive Baptist Church. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Shirley
Brothers Irving Hill Chapel. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Paul Bennett of
Indianapolis; two sons, Robert A. Mahan and Russell Mahan, both of Roachdale;
five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. - kbz
